For our integral projects, we dimension maintenance facilities and ensure efficient processes in order to secure our competitiveness. /li liShape the future of our Maintenance Production System — develop smart concepts, optimize processes, and drive digital transformation from the shopfloor to executive management. /li liAs part of an international team, you will work on strategic projects that influence maintenance operations across Europe and beyond. You will combine industrial engineering, operational excellence, data-driven decision-making and digital innovation to create sustainable competitive advantages for Siemens Mobility. /li /ul h3Your responsibilities: /h3 ul liIn your new role, you will develop a holistic and competitive maintenance concept. In doing so, you will take customer requirements, contractual obligations, and other project-specific constraints into account. /li liBased on this concept, you will calculate production capacities, critical resources, and staffing requirements. /li liDuring detailed planning, you will develop optimized workflows that serve as the basis for subsequent operations. /li liDuring ongoing operations, you will act as the link between the shopfloor and management, independently identifying potential for efficiency improvements, deriving improvement concepts, and driving their implementation. /li liYou will act as an internal consultant for international maintenance projects, working closely with plant management,



operational teams, and senior stakeholders. /li liAs part of RD projects, you will develop methods and digital solutions to optimize our planning processes and operational workflows in our maintenance facilities. /li liYou will actively contribute to the digital transformation of maintenance operations by applying analytics, automation, simulation, AI-based approaches and modern digital tools. /li liYou will challenge established practices, solve complex operational problems and drive improvements from concept development through successful implementation. /li /ul h3Your talents and experience: /h3 ul liYou have completed a technical degree in engineering or natural sciences with above-average results, or hold an equivalent qualification. A Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is preferred. /li liYou bring several years of professional experience in industrial engineering, factory planning, production planning, operations consulting, manufacturing excellence, process optimization or a comparable role. /li liPractical experience in production or maintenance is an advantage. /li liExperience with process simulation, data analytics, optimization methods or digital planning tools is highly valued. /li liKnowledge of Python, Power BI, SQL or similar analytical tools is an advantage. /li liYou are willing and curious to try out new technologies yourself and to validate the benefits of new concepts through prototypes. /li liYou enjoy solving complex operational challenges, challenging the status quo and developing innovative approaches beyond established standards. /li liYou are not satisfied with identifying problems — you take ownership and drive solutions through implementation. /li liPersonally, you stand out through analytical thinking, quick comprehension, an independent working style, and a high level of motivation and commitment. /li liOccasional willingness to travel, strong presentation skills, and fluent German and English language skills round off your profile.
