In this role, you will be accountable for defining and governing Material Master data standards, ensuring data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy across the organization. You will drive and enforce data governance policies, support data stewardship programs, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data definitions, resolve data issues, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liScope / (Content Leadership): ul liAct as the IT Expert and Consultant for the SAP S/4HANA MDG – Material Master Data Global Template team, leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Global Template. /li liLead, develop, and enforce data governance policies. Work independently on specific governance projects to ensure organizational alignment and data integrity. /li liResponsible for process design, configuration, testing assistance, requirements gathering, and establishing a fully functional MDG environment. /li liExecute hands‑on functional responsibilities, including requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, and testing. /li liPartner closely with Business Product, Process, and Content owners to plan and execute strategic enhancements to the Global Template solution. /li liCollaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Product Owners to create detailed technical architecture patterns for master data initiatives. /li liDistribute and coordinate deliverables across cross‑functional IT teams (such as Build and Test factories), ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to quality standards. /li liConduct feasibility studies and process design reviews specifically for the SAP S/4HANA / MDG – Material Master Data solution.



/li liCoordinate all SAP S/4HANA / MDG – Material Master Data dependencies—including data migration, harmonization, and IT integration—while ensuring strict alignment with global template principles. /li /ul /li liAccountability / Problem Solving: Addresses big data governance issues. including Consolidation, Mass Processing, Data Quality Management (DQM), Integration, and Master Data Quality (MDQ). /li liDemonstrated experience handling big‑sized data governance projects and overseeing complex data governance systems. /li liProven track record of independently leading, developing, and enforcing data governance policies and standards across multiple business units. /li liExperience actively managing data assets, ensuring data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy. /li /ul h3Technical / Business Skills /h3 ul liDeep functional understanding of SAP Material Master concepts, including Procure‑to‑Pay, Manufacturing, and Quality Management. /li liExpert‑level SAP functional configuration of Material master data. /li liProficiency in SAP Customizing and SAP ABAP, specifically in design, implementation, and debugging. /li liAdvanced knowledge of BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus), including building rule‑based workflow services and working collaboratively with developers for enhancements. /li liProven hands‑on experience with SAP Solution Manager and Focused Build cycles. /li liStrong, in‑depth knowledge of data privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex governance requirements for both technical teams and non‑technical business leaders. /li liStrong collaborative mindset to work closely with various departments to define data definitions, resolve data issues, and ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations. /li /ul h3Additional Qualifications (Nice To Have) /h3 ul liSAP MDG certification. /li liFoundational understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) applications. /li liBasic understanding of middleware applications and integrations. /li /ul pRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
