At TMA, a leading company in waste management and recovery, we are looking for a JUNIOR ENGINEER for our Marpol facility, located in the Port of Barcelona.

Here, your role will be essential in designing, planning and optimising industrial installations, ensuring that our processes evolve safely, efficiently and in line with our environmental standards. Every project you take part in will directly contribute to improving operations, driving innovation and reducing environmental impact.

MARPOL Plant – Port of Barcelona

Contract type

Permanent.

Responsabilities

-

- Prepare technical and economic studies for new projects.

- Interpret and develop technical drawings and P&IDs.;

- Design industrial installations, including flow calculations, equipment selection and technical specifications.

- Plan projects, coordinate resources and ensure deadlines are met.

- Supervise on‑site work and manage contractors, ensuring proper execution.

- Monitor project costs, timelines and results.





- Participate in commissioning phases of new installations.

- Analyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and quality.

- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

- Collaborate cross‑functionally with different departments.

Schedule

Monday-Friday. Full time, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Experience

Experience in the sector is valuable.

Education

-

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.

- Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering.

- Chemical Engineering.

Techncial skills

-

- PLC programming and Eplan design knowledge.

Requirements

Driving license.

Skills
