pThe Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a adaptable and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies. /ppAs a Health and Safety Intern, you will join the team responsible for promoting a safe and healthy work environment across the center, with a particular focus on supporting the dissemination and communication of health promotion initiatives. /ppYou will gain hands-on experience in key areas such as occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and applied psychosociology. /ppDuring the internship, you will have the opportunity to: /pulliSupport the dissemination of CRG Health Promotion activities through internal communication channels (e.g., campaigns, announcements, and newsletters). /liliSupport the planning, rollout, and follow-up of health promotion campaigns by tracking participation and collecting feedback to improve future initiatives. /liliSupport in identifying and assessing occupational risks related to the center’s activities, applying current regulations and internal standards. /liliAssist in conducting measurements and evaluations of physical, chemical, and biological agents. /liliContribute to proposing and implementing preventive and corrective measures. /liliHelp develop and deliver training and awareness materials for staff. /liliParticipate in the management of chemical substances and preparations. /liliCollect and analyze data on workplace accidents and incidents. /liliMonitor the condition and correct use of collective and personal protective equipment (PPE). /liliCollaborate in drafting procedures and maintaining documentation to support continuous improvement of the management system. /liliWork closely with the Occupational Health department. /liliTake part in emergency preparedness and self-protection activities.
