ppEurovision Services is seeking highly motivated MCR Broadcast Operator to become part of our Network Operations Centre (NOC). She/he will join our global Operations department in Madrid, Spain. /p h3PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION /h3 pThe MCR Broadcast Operator is responsible for the setup, monitoring, and orchestration of live transmissions and integral events across our Eurovision Global Network, in line with the highest quality standards required by our customers. In this role, you will also provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to our customers as part of our 24/7 operational support service. /p pIn detail, you will: /p ul liManage the set-up, monitoring and coordination of live transmissions from the NOC. /li liProvide outstanding first line technical support (Level 1 and Level 2) for all transmission services and equipment on our Eurovision Global Network. /li liReport faults and modifications on equipment or at any important technical point across the network, in line with our Technical Assistance Center. /li liTake the temporary measures required in order to ensure the business continuity of our broadcast services, ensuring consistent high quality through active monitoring. /li liApply and document preventive maintenance procedures to avoid possible outages. /li liSupport client onboarding processes, including preliminary designs and proof‑of‑concept testings. /li liProvide technical feedback and incident reporting to other operational units. /li liParticipate in event projects to provide technical guidance and engineering solutions. /li liTravel and take part in outside missions when required. /li liProduce workflows and network designs documentation in English. /li liProvide outstanding customer service to our clients (internal and external). /li /ul pbIn this position, you will be required to work on shifts, including weekends,



overnight, and on-call coverage on a rotating basis. /b /p h3YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ul li3+ years of proven experience operating and monitoring broadcast systems (satellite communications, fibre, streaming) /li liExcellent knowledge of broadcast and media workflows /li liHands‑on experience with broadcast equipment and infrastructure (installation, operation and maintenance) /li liExperience with satellite transmission operations, especially in SNG/DSNG environments /li liProven experience with MPEG compression and multiplexing, DVB‑ASI and DVB‑IP /li liProven experience with signal switching and processing: ASI/SDI matrix, standard conversion, monitoring systems, quality assurance of video signals and the ability to identify anomalies /li liKnowledge of video over IP applications, specifically unicast, multicast, TCP/UDP, IGMP, routing and switching /li liExperience identifying and resolving common broadcast issues (signal quality problems, black frames, audio loss, etc.) /li liAbility to quickly determine and isolate problem’s sources, easily handling redundancy switching and failover mechanisms /li liStrong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency /li liSelf‑management and ability to work independently with limited supervision /li liCustomer orientation and ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners during operations /li liProficiency in English,
