Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive regional employee and industrial relations as the SME for South Europe, supporting the regional ER/IR strategy and enabling compliant, future-focused operations. You will act as a first point of contact for complex ER matters, mentor HR partners, and ensure robust plans, tools and processes across the region. The position blends ER/IR expertise with strong partner management to manage risks and influence business outcomes. A key focus is Castellón Refinery ER support (about 50%) while backing other businesses in Spain and the broader region. You will operate in a hybrid model, collaborating with a multinational team to shape people-related strategies and change.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Execute regional ER/IR strategy and independently coordinate, prepare and resolve ER and IR cases with central ER-Advisory support
• Prepare legal documents and act as primary sparring partner for HR Business Partners on complex topics
• Escalate risks to the PR Manager and coordinate with external lawyers as needed
• Support negotiations with employee representatives and unions,



including documenting materials and communications
• Coordinate works council processes and ensure timely, compliant involvement of partners
• Contribute to standardised consultation and employee participation processes
• Support major organizational changes and identify ER/IR risks with mitigation guidance
• Develop practical tools, policies and training; promote knowledge sharing and process improvements

Responsabilidades
• Solid knowledge of employment and labor relations law (Spain, EU exposure preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with scenario planning and risk assessment
• Experience managing partners in a complex, international environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
• Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and governance skills
