As a Senior Software Engineer in Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Global Services in Barcelona, you’ll help build scalable solutions for the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a growing, integral vendor network and next-generation platforms for groceries and urgent daily needs. Your work will focus on enabling onboarding, reliability, and rapid delivery at scale, fueling growth across the group. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership in architectural decisions, within a fast-paced, results-driven culture.

• Onboard and support vendors in early stages within the Q-Commerce platform
• Troubleshoot complex issues and analyse potential solutions, delivering timely fixes
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering leadership across the Q-Commerce organization
• Design and build scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures that operate in production




• Drive architectural decisions and mentor engineers across multiple teams
• Maintain high code quality with automated testing and best practices

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience (mandatory)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Experience with event-driven xqbhyrx architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Google Pub/Sub)
• Observability experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Excellent English communication skills
