Our European headquarters are located in Barcelona, from where we lead the brand’s regional development and support its continued growth across the European market. /p h3Work arrangement /h3 ulliThis position is based fully on-site at our Barcelona office. /li /ul h3Why join us /h3 ulliJoin one of the fastest-growing international automotive brands in Europe. /liliPlay a key role in ensuring material availability and production continuity within an international automotive manufacturing environment. /liliContribute to the development and optimization of material planning, inventory control, and supplier logistics processes. /liliCollaborate with commercial, regional, production, logistics, engineering, supplier, and headquarters teams in a multicultural environment. /liliGrow within a general organization with strong development opportunities. /li /ul h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liConsolidate inputs from commercial and regional teams to develop and release mid- and long-term demand forecasts for localized EU parts and non-EU parts, including Thailand and Korea. /li liConvert sales forecasts and system requirements into material demand plans and release material requirements to component suppliers and outsourced manufacturing suppliers. /li liCoordinate supplier deliveries based on OEM production schedules to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing operations. /li liMaintain part master data, safety stock parameters, and related system settings to ensure order accuracy and healthy inventory levels. /li liRelease material orders according to system requirements and production needs in a timely manner. /li liMonitor daily material supply status and track the transportation progress of localized parts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries. /li liAnalyze inventory coverage days and dynamically adjust safety stock levels to maintain appropriate inventory levels. /li liTrack the delivery progress of critical components, proactively identify supply risks, and support production continuity through timely escalation and coordination. /li liCoordinate cross-functional teams to resolve supply risks caused by severe weather, traffic restrictions, urgent shortages, or other unexpected events. /li liResolve supply exceptions, including delays, shortages, and quantity discrepancies,
to ensure uninterrupted production supply. /li liManage supplier logistics performance on a daily basis and coordinate supplier inquiries related to material orders and deliveries. /li liCoordinate engineering change implementation with suppliers and manage old and new part transitions to ensure the smooth execution of material changes. /li liManage part transitions during model-year changes and vehicle replacement projects while minimizing obsolete inventory risks. /li liAnalyze warehouse and subcontractor inventory to balance old and new part supply during product transitions. /li liEstablish and maintain effective coordination interfaces between subcontracting plants and demand planning teams. /li liPrepare regular material status reports and supply analysis reports. /li liParticipate in annual supplier performance evaluations and support the continuous improvement of supplier logistics performance. /li liSupport other department-related tasks and projects as required. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in material planning and tracking. /li liProven experience in global material planning, material order release, and delivery tracking is highly preferred. /li liStrong knowledge of automotive component production and delivery models. /li liGood understanding of material demand planning and pull-based supply systems within automotive OEM environments. /li liGood understanding of subcontracting processing order management and related operational processes. /li liFamiliarity with BOM structures, engineering change management, and part transition processes. /li liExperience with SAP MRP is preferred. /li liStrong cross-functional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to independently drive issue resolution. /li liStrong logical thinking and data analysis capabilities. /li liHigh resilience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
