ph3Your Role Our Team /h3 pIRB Barcelona is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Fellow to participate in cutting edge research line -Crosstalk analysis of MAPK signaling- of the Cell Signaling Research Group led by Dr. Francesc Posas and Dr. Eulàlia de Nadal. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul lipStudying intracellular signaling dynamics using in vitro and in vivo assays. /p /li lipStudying kinase activity in single cells by microscopy. /p /li lipBiochemical characterization of MAPK pathway components and phosphorylation events using mass spectrometry and phosphomutant analyses. /p /li lipInvestigating cell-type-specific responses to MAPK pathway activation using multiple cellular models. /p /li lipAssessing cell viability, cell cycle progression, and stress adaptation in response to pathway perturbations. /p /li lipIndependently design and test biological hypotheses. /p /li lipPlan, perform and interpret experiments. /p /li lipCollaborate with a multidisciplinary research team, tapping into the expertise of fellow researchers and external collaborators. /p /li lipContribute to a culture of scientific excellence, efficiency, and teamwork. /p /li lipContribute to other lab projects and to the maintenance of protocols and laboratory resources in the group. /p /li lipCritically analyze analytical results, participate in scientific discussions and in preparation of diverse forms of scientific communication (seminars and conferences). /p /li lipParticipate in the project activities: meetings, presentations, visits to other labs, collaboration, exchange of data sets, preparing project reports/deliverables. /p /li lipWriting scientific articles and research projects. /p /li lipPerform excellent research according to the high standards of the lab and the IRB Barcelona. /p /li /ul h3YOU HAVE /h3 ul lipPhD in any of the Life Sciences fields. /p /li lipExperience in cell signaling research, preferably in kinase-based pathways. /p /li lipHands‑on experience with mass spectrometry‑based phosphoproteomics or familiarity with phosphopeptide analysis. /p /li lipDemonstrated experience in confocal microscopy and image analysis. /p /li lipExtended knowledge in culture of mammalian cells, molecular and cell biology techniques. /p /li lipStrong peer reviewed publication record /p /li lipDemonstrated ability to design and conduct experiments independently. /p /li lipExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. /p /li lipStrong organizational and multitasking skills. /p /li lipAttention to detail and accuracy.



/p /li lipProficiency in English (both written and spoken). /p /li lipHighly motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative person. /p /li lipWilling to keep on learning. /p /li lipAbility to work independently in a demanding research environment. /p /li /ul h3YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE /h3 ul lipExperience with phosphomutant generation and functional validation. /p /li lipKnowledge of stress response pathways (osmotic stress, oxidative stress, DNA damage) and their interplay. /p /li lipExperience working with mouse models relevant to stress signaling or stem cell biology. and relevant certifications or a certificate of competence for handling animals for experimentation. /p /li lipResearch experience in signal transduction. /p /li lipFamiliarity with bioinformatic tools for single‑cell data analysis or mass spectrometry data processing. /p /li lipExperience in university‑level teaching or supervision of junior researchers (undergraduate or Master’s students). /p /li /ul h3WHAT WE OFFER /h3 pbTo be a part a part of something meaningful: /bWe are a biomedical research centre that tirelessly works to achieve a society free of diseases.
