Our apps, serving billions of requests every hour, help drive products such as Apple TV+, iTunes App Store, Apple Music, and iTunes Store applications on iOS, Desktop, and Apple TV. /p h3Description /h3 pWe're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our internal tools QA team to test automate workflows that our internal teams and partners use to deliver all of our streaming content in the TV App. We are seeking an experienced engineer who is proactive, detail oriented, and can multi-task effectively. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild on existing UI and BE automation for internal video tools with a focus on live streaming platform and sports tools /li liWrite and execute manual and automated tests that target Apple TV internal sports and live streaming video tools. /li liAnalyze test results, troubleshoot, assess risk, and triage issues with different teams. /li liCreate and maintain comprehensive test plans for web-based apps. /li liCollaborate with developers, EPMs QA engineers to understand features in-depth, plan sprints, plan test cycles, design test automation and analyze defects. /li liManage a consistently evolving backlog of automation needs, schedule work and contribute significantly to automation test coverage according to priorities defined by our stakeholders /li liCoordinate test plans among QA engineers, track progress, and report results. /li liEvangelize software testing best practices and influence architecture and design decisions.



/li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liExtensive experience in Automated web UI testing using Selenium and Playwright /li liExperience in API functional testing, API test development, execution of automated tests and bug reporting. /li liProficiency with programming in Python and TypeScript and experience with UNIX-based systems for debugging, analysis, and automation. /li liDeep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) /li liStrong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields preferred. /li liSubstantial experience in quality engineering and/or software development. /li liExperience developing test automation with Pytest, JUnit, or TestNg and knowledge of Data Driven Testing /li liExperience with web devTools, server side logging tools (e.g. Splunk) and HTTP traffic monitoring tools (e.g. Charles Proxy). /li liExperience working closely with development teams in an Agile software development environment. /li liAbility to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levels /li liOutstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) /li liComfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment /li /ul pAt Apple, we believe accessibility is a fundamental human right.
