We’re looking for a hands‑on Lead Rust Engineer to set the technical direction of a cross‑functional team and drive high‑quality delivery. /p pThe idóneo candidate is an experienced Rust software engineer with a proven track record of leading technical initiatives in complex software environments. You enjoy solving challenging technical problems while empowering others to perform at their best and lead by example, encourage open communication, and create an environment where engineers can grow. /p h3What You Will Bring /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electrical engineering or a related field. /li liStrong, hands‑on Rust development experience (preferably more than 4 years) with deep understanding of core Rust concepts such as ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and asynchronous programming (async/await). /li liProficiency with Rust libraries/frameworks such as Tokio, Actix‑web, Rocket, Serde, SQL, and Foreign‑Function Interfaces. /li liExperience with Linux containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and basic scripting. /li liExperience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ), event‑driven architecture, event stores, event sourcing, and actor models. /li liExperience applying design patterns relevant for distributed systems. /li liExposure to AI‑enabled software development practices and modern cloud‑native architectures. /li liFamiliarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), Test‑Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD). /li liFluent in English. /li liSAFe/Agile experience is essential.



/li /ul h3Nice To Have /h3 ul liBackground in regulated domains /li liReact and automated UI testing experience /li liGerman language skills /li liISAQB or similar architecture qualification /li /ul h3You Will Be Responsible For /h3 ul liDefine and communicate the team’s technical vision and architecture. /li liConvert business needs into scalable, secure solutions. /li liDesign, build, and maintain Rust services. /li liLead asynchronous and concurrent development (Tokio, Serde, Actix, etc.). /li liOversee deployments on Docker and Kubernetes. /li liPromote code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD. /li liApply DDD, TDD/BDD and best practices for distributed systems. /li liDesign reliable messaging and event‑driven patterns. /li liMentor engineers and remove technical blockers. /li liFoster a collaborative, inclusive team culture. /li liSupport planning, estimation, and prioritization. /li liWork with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architects. /li liCoordinate technical dependencies across teams. /li liCommunicate technical concepts clearly in Agile and SAFe ceremonies. /li /ul h3What If the Project Ends? /h3 pWe work on a wide variety of projects, technologies, and sectors, allowing you to keep growing in different environments.
