What You’ll Do

- Own the Core Domain Model: design and evolve backend services that define benefits, ensuring the model stays clean, consistent, and extensible.
- Tame Business Complexity: translate regulatory and business rules into robust, maintainable code.
- Build for Consistency at Scale: design systems with data integrity across multi‑tenant configurations and concurrent transactions.
- Drive Product Velocity Without Cutting Corners: deliver new benefit types and market expansions at speed while avoiding technical debt.
- Write comprehensive tests that encode business rules, ensuring reliable quality.
- Operate and observe the domain: monitor health in production, build dashboards and alerts to detect issues early.
- Lead technically: raise the bar through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

Qualifications

- Outstanding software engineering skills.
- Proven experience delivering production applications in Node.js or a similar language.
- Experience with distributed services and banking‑related services.
- Experience building medium/large‑scale web applications and distributed systems.
- Experience operating services in a production environment.
- A systematic problem‑solving approach.
- Proficiency in unit, integration, functional, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Passion to learn from feedback and help others improve their code.

Languages

- Fluent in Spanish and English.
