ppLocation: Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain /p pThis position will report to the site PPL DIGITAL HW Manager. /p h3Mission /h3 ul liUnderstanding of technical requirements and definition of technical solutions. /li liDigital Electronics design for on-board units (based on FPGAs and microprocessors). /li liPreparation of design documentation. /li liSchematics capture in Mentor xDesigner. /li liAnalog/digital electronics simulations. /li liSignal integrity simulations in Hyperlynx, ADS, Ansys or similar. /li liReview of post layout/placement activities. /li liReview of PCB routing. /li liPreparation of board-level tests procedure. /li liInternal or customer Design Reviews. /li liSupport in validation and acceptance campaigns. /li liEngineering Master, preferably Electronics with firm background in digital electronic design. /li liExperience in (minimum 6 years) Digital electronics design: communication buses, memories (DDR2, DDR4, NOR Flash), FPGAs, microprocessors. /li liKnowledge of design tools: LTspice, Simplix/Simetrix, OrCAD, … /li liExperience with High-Speed digital links (1 Gbps): simulations, routing guidelines, VITA Standard.
