ppWe are seeking an experienced FAT Witness / Inspection Engineer to support upcoming Factory Acceptance Tests for manual valves at a vendor facility in Tarragona, Spain. /p pThe assignment is expected to commence within approximately two weeks, subject to confirmation of the vendor’s final test programme. The selected inspector will act as the Client/Contractor representative during the FAT and will be responsible for verifying compliance with approved technical documentation, specifications, applicable standards and contractual requirements. /p h3Assignment Details /h3 pbPosition: /b FAT Witness / Inspection Engineer – Manual Valves /p pbLocation: /b Tarragona, Spain /p pbSector: /b Industrial / Energy / Infrastructure /p pbContract Type: /b Short-term consultancy assignment /p pbExpected Start: /b Tentatively within two weeks /p pbDuration: /b To be confirmed based on the vendor FAT programme /p pbWork Arrangement: /b On-site FAT attendance, with document review and reporting as required /p pbAvailability: /b Immediate or short-notice availability preferred /p pPreference will be given to inspectors already based in Spain or able to mobilize rapidly to Tarragona. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liReview FAT documentation before the inspection, including Inspection and Test Plans, datasheets, approved drawings, specifications and relevant procedures. /li liAttend the Factory Acceptance Test at the vendor’s premises as the Client/Contractor representative. /li liWitness and verify visual inspections of manual valves. /li liVerify valve dimensions against approved drawings and datasheets. /li liWitness pressure, hydrostatic, pneumatic and leakage tests, as applicable. /li liVerify the functional operation and mechanical performance of the valves. /li liConfirm that test equipment is calibrated and supported by valid calibration certificates. /li liVerify compliance with approved project specifications, quality requirements and applicable industry standards.



/li liReview inspection records, material certificates, test certificates and vendor documentation. /li liIdentify, document and report any non-conformities, deviations or outstanding technical matters. /li liCoordinate with the vendor’s quality and technical teams during the inspection. /li liClearly record accepted, rejected and pending items. /li liPrepare and submit a detailed FAT inspection report, including findings, photographs, test results, punch-list items and recommendations. /li liProvide a clear recommendation regarding acceptance, conditional acceptance or rejection of the inspected equipment. /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liDegree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. /li liProven experience performing FAT witnessing or vendor inspection activities. /li liStrong experience with manual valves and associated testing activities. /li liPractical knowledge of visual, dimensional, pressure, leakage and functional testing. /li liExperience reviewing ITPs, drawings, datasheets, specifications and vendor quality documentation. /li liFamiliarity with applicable valve inspection and testing standards, including relevant API, ASME, EN or project-specific requirements. /li liAbility to identify technical deviations and issue clear inspection comments or non-conformity reports. /li liStrong technical reporting and documentation skills. /li liAbility to work independently and represent the Client professionally at the vendor facility. /li liProfessional working proficiency in English.
