ppThis is an exciting opportunity for a versatile Senior Systems Engineer to support b#EUSPA /b, the EU Agency for the Space Programme, in the upcoming b#Galileo /b b#GSMC /b Deployments. /p pGalileo is Europe's General Navigation Satellite System (b#GNSS /b), the b#EUSpace /b flagship programme, funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information worldwide. /p pCETRA BASE is currently looking for one senior professional with experience in Galileo to join the Galileo Engineering team. /p pThe position is based in Saint Germain en Laye (GSMC France). /p h3Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 pThe Galileo Deployment activities include: /p ul liAnalyse and report on operations return of experience, derive operability and maintainability requirements for System evolutions /li liParticipate to the system design and development activities (e.g. CDR, QR, SDQR) to ensure proper operability and maintainability of the Systems in development and to prepare its operations and maintenance documentation /li liSupport the definition, verification and implementation of System operational transitions associated to system evolutions /li /ul pThe non-exhaustive list of taks include: /p ul liCheck the working schedule is aligned with the Programme baseline and report in case of discrepancies /li liSupport, by reviewing the relevant DP and attending the relevant meetings, all the segment and system reviews (CDR, Segment QR, System QR, DRB_EA)



/li liPrepare the deployment checkpoint activities (minimum 1 month before planned deployment activities) /li liPrepare and organize all Operational readiness boards (ORR/OVR, OVRR, Migration) /li liSupport the Element Key Point (acceptance) activities (once all inputs/DP are available to EUSPA) /li liPrepare the minutes of meeting within 2 working days from the conduct of the meeting /li liFollow-up all open actions (weekly) /li liTrack documentation deliveries linked to above deployments /li liConsolidate Templates and lessons learnt from previous activities /li /ul h3Essential qualifications and experience /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science /li li5+ years of experience in Galileo or other space projects /li liStrong team-working skills /li liExperience in meeting management /li liExperience in reporting activities /li liProfessional proficiency in English, both written and spoken /li liEligible for security clearance /li liAvailability to travel within Europe /li /ul h3Security /h3 pIn line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate must be a citizen of a European Union state. /p pThis position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance. /p pThe successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract and a highly competitive salary package, according to his/her skills and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
