In this role you develop and optimize tools and automation for coating application, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate needs into tested, scalable solutions. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable field implementation. The position centers on hands-on tool development, integration of mechanical and electrical components, and driving repeatable, high-quality application methods. • Develop, prototype, and enhance tools and equipment for coating application, emphasizing automated and semi-automated solutions
• Support manufacturability, serviceability, and safe operation in industrial coating environments
• Contribute to automated coating concepts by integrating mechanical parts, electronics, sensors, actuators, and control elements
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize tool performance in lab, workshop, and field settings
• Assist in selecting and validating components and suppliers for tool projects
• Prepare drawings, specs, test plans,



and development documentation for new tools or modifications
• Coordinate with application specialists, coating advisors, Ru0026D, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and practical implementation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of application methods, reliability, and repeatability in automated coating processes
• Deliver fit-for-purpose tools and equipment and ensure on-time milestones and documentation
• Enhance reliability, repeatability, and safety in coating application processes
• Support automation initiatives and field implementation

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-7 years in product/tool development, industrial equipment, automation, or related fields
• Hands-on mechanical design and/or electronics integration
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, or coating application processes (advantage)
• Fluency in English
