We work closely with bexternal advisors /b to validate tax criteria, ensure baccurate reporting /b and drive to optimizeb processes /b that streamline the finance function. This role is primarily focused on ensuring accurate and compliant invoice generation across markets, supporting the integration of tax engines with billing platforms,



and driving automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in the invoicing lifecycle. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liOwn the end-to-end invoicing compliance process, including invoice design, field validation, and regulatory alignment across global markets. /li liConfigure and maintain tax determination rules within billing and invoicing platforms, ensuring accurate tax calculation at point of invoice generation. /li liPartner with product, engineering, and finance teams to build scalable invoice templates that meet local statutory requirements. /li liLead testing and validation cycles for invoice-related changes, including system upgrades, new market launches, and regulatory updates. /li liIdentify and resolve invoicing discrepancies and tax mismatches; escalated complex issues to senior tax leadership as needed. /li liDevelop and maintain a library of invoice scenarios, edge cases, and exception-handling documentation. /li liSupport audit readiness by ensuring invoice archives are accurate, complete, and easily retrievable. /li liCreate training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for billing operations and customer-facing teams /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. /li li2-3 years of experience in tax technology or billing operations, with a primary focus on invoicing solutions. /li liHands‑on experience with tax engines (Vertex, Avalara, or equivalent) integrated into billing systems. /li liFamiliarity with subscription billing platforms is a strong plus. /li liSolid understanding of indirect tax regulations (sales use tax, VAT) as they relate to invoice content and timing. /li liExperience working cross‑functionally with engineering and product teams on invoicing automation projects.
