We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day. /p h3EHS Technician – Health Safety and Radiological Protection /h3 pWestinghouse Field Services /p pAt Westinghouse Field Services, we are looking for an EHS Technician to support Health Safety (HS) and Radiological Protection (RP) activities across our sites and nuclear power plants. The selected candidate will report to the Spain EHS Manager and will be based in Hospitalet de l’Infant, working in a highly technical, regulated, and safety-driven environment within the nuclear sector. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the Health Safety Management System and activities related to Radiological Protection. /li liAssist in safety inspections and risk assessments. /li liSupport the development and implementation of policies and practices aimed at identifying and mitigating hazardous workplace conditions. /li liParticipate in compliance assurance activities, environmental management system audits, and routine inspections to monitor compliance in real time. /li liAssist in the investigation of accidents and environmental incidents, working with engineers, management, and regulatory authorities to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. /li liSupport the planning and execution of training activities related to health, safety, and radiological protection. /li liPrepare documentation required for workers’ access to customer facilities, including:
ul liHealth Safety Plans /li liIndividual staff accreditations /li liTraining records /li liPersonal Protective Equipment documentation /li /ul /li liSupport coordination in multi-employer worksites. /li liMonitor and supervise Radiological Protection matters, including dose management for exposed workers. /li liProvide administrative support related to other EHS areas. /li liParticipate in in-field Health Safety and Radiological Protection supervision during nuclear plant outages and inspection campaigns. /li liAssist in the preparation of: ul liHealth Safety Plans /li liHazard assessments /li liPreventive and protective measures /li liALARA Plans /li /ul /li liSupport field supervision activities, including: ul liAccident investigation /li liDose monitoring /li liHygienic assessments /li liSafety inspections of equipment, tools, and auxiliary means /li liPlanning and supervision of special hazardous activities /li /ul /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liTechnical or academic background related to Health Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, Environmental Health, Sciences, or similar disciplines. /li liAn engineering degree is not required, provided the candidate has relevant qualifications and experience related to Occupational Risk Prevention / Health Safety. /li liNative or fluent Spanish. /li liEnglish level B2. /li liFit to work as an ionizing radiation–exposed worker. /li liAbility to work with a medium level of autonomy and supervision. /li liStrong orientation toward internal and external customers. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Occupational Health Safety.
