Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the regional Government. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and managing opportunities through government tenders, RFPs, and formal bidding processes. You will also be responsible to proactively identify key stakeholders, contacts and institutional decision makers in the Government and present BLS offerings for upcoming opportunities. The role will require to proactively look for potential partners to bid or service the contract jointly. Your expertise will ensure the development of high-quality, compliant,
and compelling proposals that increase our win rate and expand our portfolio of government contracts worldwide.
Job Overview:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic initiatives and financial performance monitoring.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
- Management Reporting: Provide regular financial insights and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Taxation and Compliance: Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, including VAT, corporation tax, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to US tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial information and addressing audit findings and recommendations.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements, optimizing cash management strategies and supporting funding decisions.
- Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Financial Systems: Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial reporting capabilities.
Qualifications and Competencies required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, with 3-5 years’ experience in the relevant field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and audit management.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
