ppInsight Global is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to support one of our large consulting clients. this role will be supporting cutting-edge projects within the AI space and sitting remotely in Europe. /p h3Day-to-Day /h3 ulliDesign, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs supporting a high-performance distributed application /liliBuild and optimize microservices architecture and event-driven systems to support real-time processing (Backend -Develop server-side logic using Python (FastAPI/Flask) and integrate with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)) /liliImplement and maintain messaging systems and streaming pipelines to support application workflows /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams across integral time zones to deliver production-ready features /liliExecute testing strategies (unit, integration, load) and resolve performance or reliability issues /liliCommunicate technical progress clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders /li /ul h3REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ulli8–10+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments -Strong Python experience building REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or similar)



/liliExperience designing and deploying microservices in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) /liliStrong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and serverless components (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions) -Experience with databases (SQL + NoSQL) and distributed systems architecture /liliHands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems /liliStrong debugging, performance optimization, and system design skills /liliAbility to communicate technical concepts and progress clearly to non-technical stakeholders /li /ul h3NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ulliExperience with GenAI applications or RAG-based systems /liliExposure to AI-first development environments, including working alongside LLM systems or agentic workflows -Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) /liliExperience with distributed search technologies such as Elasticsearch /liliExperience working in globally distributed engineering teams /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
