In this role you will lead complex tenders for large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, balancing technical excellence with commercial insight. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering and global manufacturing to deliver competitive, compliant proposals. Expect to evaluate technical requirements, manage cross-functional bids, and support customers through the bidding process. Your work helps Sulzer deliver robust pumping solutions while shaping sustainable, international projects.

• Prepare technical and commercial tenders for infrastructure and energy projects with accuracy and on-time delivery
• Review customer specs to design optimal pumping solutions
• Collaborate with specialist departments and manufacturing sites to configure pumps and systems
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation during bidding
• Provide technical consultations, specs, and proposal presentations to customers and sales
• Manage supplier and subcontractor enquiries, evaluate quotations, and lead technical discussions
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure competitive and compliant offers
• Support smooth handover from tendering to project execution after contract award
• Maintain accurate data and documentation in sales and tendering systems
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in tendering, sales engineering, project management, pump engineering, or related field
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment
• Experience in complex technical tenders and commercial proposal prep
• Fluent English
• Willingness xqbhyrx to travel in Spain and internationally
• Knowledge of desalination and water transport applications (advantage)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness
