We are currently looking for ab Field Surveyor /bto join our team for a construction project inb Toronto, Canada (on-site position) /b /p pb-Estimated duration of the position: 2 years /b- In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity. /p pb-Summary: /bthis role demands a versatile professional capable of performing effectively across varied project environments. It offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of major civil projects by ensuring precise and accurate survey data collection and analysis. Adaptability, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach are essential attributes for this role. /p ul liAssist Senior Surveyors as needed, particularly during periods of high workload. /li liExecute survey requests outside specific station areas as directed. /li liFulfill survey department requirements including data acquisition and stakeouts related to the project network. /li liCoordinate with the Digital Delivery department, supporting drone flights and other specific needs. /li liContinuously improve surveying knowledge and skills. /li liMentor and support Survey Assistants in their professional development. /li liPropose and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the survey section. /li liHandle company materials responsibly and in accordance with safety protocols. /li liAssist in establishing, measuring, and maintaining the Survey Network as required. /li liCollaborate with and support other surveyors as necessary to ensure project objectives are met. /li liA minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Surveyor in tunnel/rail/subway/ linear works/heavy civil construction projects or similar. /li liProficiency in using a variety of survey equipment such as Laser Scanners, Total Stations,
GNSS receivers, and Digital Levels. Leica preferred. /li liExperience working with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) will be highly valued. /li liAdditional skills in technological solutions, both hardware and software, are beneficial. /li liFamiliarity with the Microsoft Office suite. /li liKnowledge of design software such as Civil 3D and Point Cloud software is advantageous. /li liBe very adaptable to changing scenarios. /li /ul pb-Working hours: /bMonday to Friday, 12-hour shifts on rotating schedule (2 weeks day / 2 weeks night) - Based on project demands- /p ul liHandling and payment of the Canadian Work Visa. /li liWorking for an international company currently expanding. /li li22 working days of vacation per year + project observed holidays. /li li5 working days of sick leave (100% salary). /li liPhone is provided /li liPublic transport bonus included. /li liLocal Health Insurance (100% paid by the company). /li /ul pbNote /b : The description and conditions indicated here are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by employees but do not constitute a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and general competencies required by the staff.
