ph3Postdoctoral Researcher – Chromatin Biology Laboratory /h3 pThe Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a comprehensive cancer research center dedicated to the study of leukaemia and other hematologic malignancies. We are seeking a bPostdoctoral Researcher /b for the Chromatin Biology Laboratory led by Dr. Alejandro Vaquero. /p h3RESEARCH DESCRIPTION /h3 pThe Chromatin Biology Laboratory focuses on the role of the Sirtuin family of enzymes in regulating genome stability and epigenetics under stress conditions, and their impact on cancer, senescence, and aging. /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pThe successful candidate will explore the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms controlling the SIRT7/PAX5 interplay in B-cell differentiation and B‑Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B‑ALL). The project utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, combining molecular and cellular biology techniques with genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics in mouse models and patient‑derived leukemia models. /p h3QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liPhD in Biology, Biomedicine, Medicine, or a related discipline. /li liStrong interest in cancer biology, especially the mechanisms underlying stress response, hematological malignancies, and immune regulation. /li liDemonstrated experience with mouse models (essential), preferably in leukemia and/or sirtuin biology.
