In close collaboration with the national and international Medical Affairs teams, the Scientific Affairs Manager (SAM) will provide scientific and medical leadership and support for the implementation of integrated tactical and engagement plans, while upholding the highest standards of compliance and scientific integrity in Spain. /p pHe/she will be responsible for building peer‑to‑peer relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and other stakeholders to deliver clinical, scientific, and medical education. The SAM will support research initiatives, advisory boards, and other compliant scientific exchange activities to support the integrated strategic and tactical plan and the Medical Affairs’ tactics. /p h3Responsibilities And Duties /h3 ul liServe as a Scientific Affairs Manager for Spain and as a member of the international Medical Affairs team. /li liBe a subject‑matter expert for the rare MC4R pathway diseases and our indications. /li liContribute to the development and responsible for the implementation of the integrated strategic and tactical plan with focus on the medical and scientific projects and tactics. /li liOrganize and lead local advisory boards and Key External Expert meetings to gain insights, foster scientific exchange and support the local strategy. /li liProvide medical support for the implementation of the local strategy.



/li liBuild and maintain peer‑to‑peer relationships with external experts and stakeholders, delivering clinical, scientific, and medical education. /li liOversee and initiate medical projects in collaboration with clinical partners and research networks. /li liIdentify stakeholder and provide insights for future clinical developments and play a key role in the pre‑launch and launch phase for these new developments. /li liContribute to the development and implementation of scientific communication plans and medical information materials, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. /li liCollaborate closely with Drug Safety, Market Access, and Commercial. /li liCollaborate with the clinical team and monitor all Rhythm clinical trials taking place in Spain and follow up where necessary. /li liIdentify knowledge gaps among healthcare professionals and organize non‑promotional scientific presentations. /li liParticipate in local medical and cross‑functional projects and initiatives. /li liEnsure effective and compliant communication with internal and external stakeholders. /li liSupport the commercial team and HCPs with knowledge building around the efficacy and safety of our product(s), including AE/PV reporting. /li liPlay a pivotal role in establishing appropriate multidisciplinary care including patient support programs. /li liPlay a pivotal role in identifying hurdles and solutions in order to optimize patient identification and referral pathways. /li liRespond to unsolicited requests for medical information in a timely manner. Ensure that an accurate and fair balanced response is provided. /li /ul h3Qualifications And Skills /h3 ul liAdvanced degree in a pharmaceutical, scientific, or medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD)



/li li8 or more years’ experience within a Medical Science Liaison or similar field‑based scientific exchange role with primary emphasis on field‑based scientific exchange within the biopharmaceutical industry strongly preferred. Relevant pharmaceutical and clinical/therapeutic experience also a consideration /li liRare diseases experience is a plus /li liLaunch experience is a plus /li liProven skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional team without silos /li liCross‑functional mindset focused on a seamless collaboration with the commercial team /li liNot accepting the status quo, working with a sense of urgency to deliver results /li liAffinity with and willingness to implement an omnichannel way of working while engaging with KEEs and HCPs /li liSelf‑starter mentality who feels comfortable to work in a fast paced environment /li liExcellent communication skills and scientific acumen when presenting clinical, disease state information to a variety of audiences /li liDemonstrates knowledge of regional/local specific healthcare systems, the evolving medical landscape, reimbursement and industry trends. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in local language for the market and in verbal and written English /li /ul pThis role is field‑based in Spain. Candidates applying must be willing and able to work primarily out of their home office.
