ph3Senior Financial Analyst - Finance Operations (f/m/d) /h3 h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ulliSource and pre-transform accounting data from source systems, ERP and finance tools to support financial bookings and close processes /liliBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines that feed accounting and financial reporting processes /liliEnsure accuracy, traceability and auditability of the financial data inputs you build /li /ul h3Automated Reconciliations /h3 ulliDesign and build automated reconciliation processes between source systems, ERP and downstream reporting, reducing manual reconciliation work for accounting teams /liliInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, escalating systemic or recurring issues to the Financial Data Team Leader /liliWork with the Financial Data Team Leader to refine requirements and manage the delivery backlog for reconciliation and pipeline work /li /ul h3Process Optimization /h3 ulliBuild automation that removes manual data manipulation from accounting teams' day-to-day work /liliSupport the efficiency and reliability of month-end close by keeping data flows and reconciliations running smoothly /liliFlag recurring data quality issues at source and work with Data Engineering to fix them upstream /liliProactively identifies data gaps, quality issues and process inefficiencies and proposes solutions /liliDevelop reporting to support accounting and operational finance processes such as: Credit control and collections, Working capital monitoring, Revenue operational reconciliation, Transaction-level financial controls /liliProvide accountants with visibility into financial process drivers and anomalies /li /ul h3Data Governance /h3 ulliApply consistent data definitions in your builds, flagging inconsistencies to the Financial Data Team Leader /liliWork with Finance Systems to maintain alignment between source systems and ERP structures /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ulli3+ years experience in Finance, Accounting,
or Data Analytics /liliComfortable working across finance and data teams to get reconciliation and reporting builds right /liliSolid understanding of accounting processes (close cycle, revenue recognition, reconciliations, working capital) /liliAbility to translate accounting requirements into data specifications /liliComfortable engaging with Finance Operations stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical specifications /liliMeticulous and detail-oriented, with the rigor reconciliation and financial control work demands /liliStrong process improvement mindset ( thinking about the end user, iterating based on feedback, and caring about the quality and reliability of what they deliver) /liliAbility to structure complex financial data problems /liliCapable of communicating complex problems to all level of stakeholders /liliBachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field /liliStudying towards or holding AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (advantageous, not required) /liliFluent English; an additional European language is advantageous given the multi-location remit but not essential /liliStrong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and working with large transactional datasets /liliExperience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), Python experience is a plus /liliExperience working with ERP systems and financial data structures /liliUnderstanding of data pipelines and data modelling concepts; familiarity with Finance Data Warehouse concepts is a plus /li /ul h3Our Offer /h3 pbFlexi-Week /b: We prioritise your mental health and wellbeing by offering you a four-day Flexi-Week (with one lighter or completely disconnected day per week) at full pay,
