We are working with a product‑led company looking to hire a Senior Rails Developer to play a key role in scaling and evolving their backend systems. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership and impact across engineering and product.

The Role

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining core systems that support a high‑scale, always‑on platform.

You’ll be responsible for

- Developing and maintaining backend systems and internal tools
- Translating business goals into scalable technical solutions
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving live systems (24/7 environment)
- Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments
- Driving improvements in architecture, performance, and scalability
- Integrating and maintaining third‑party APIs

What We’re Looking For

- 10+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience working on high‑scale, production systems
- Strong understanding of software design principles & best practices




- Proven ability to think strategically and align tech with business goals
- Ownership mindset with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
- Experience working with large datasets and third‑party integrations

Nice to Have

- Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Hotwire
- Knowledge of mobile ad monetisation ecosystems
- Strong background in unit & integration testing
