This programme addresses challenges relating to technology, system architecture, interoperability and the provision of high-precision, resilient and low-latency navigation services. The next phase of the programme is CELESTE In-Orbit Preparation (IOP), a large-scale project covering the end-to-end system and integrating multiple sub-programmes. The Systems Engineer role aims to take on technical responsibility for the CELESTE IOP programme, or one of its sub-programmes, leading the definition of the architecture, requirements management and technical consistency of the system. /pulliLead the systems engineering for the assigned programme or sub-programme. /liliDefine and maintain the architecture of the LEO navigation system (space segment, signals, links, ground segment and users). /liliManage system requirements, including their definition, breakdown, traceability and verification. /liliEnsure technical consistency between the various segments and disciplines (payload, platform, navigation, ground segment, operations). /liliCoordinate system performance analyses. Lead or contribute to technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) in accordance with ECSS standards. /liliIdentify and manage technical risks and design trade-offs. /liliOversee the preparation of technical documentation and system models.
