We promote an inclusive and respectful working environment for all our professionals. /ph3The Role /h3pWe are looking for a Senior Consultant – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our Consulting team, contributing to the management and technical leadership of advisory projects related to renewable energy and energy storage systems in Spain and internationally, with a strong focus on the Middle East and Caspian regions. /ppThe position is adecuado for a proactive, self-motivated professional with solid technical expertise in BESS design, energy modelling, and project commercial fundamentals. The selected candidate will support clients throughout all project lifecycle phases, from development to construction and operation, providing independent engineering and technical advisory services.



/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead technical advisory and consulting projects in the renewable energy and BESS sectors. /liliPerform energy storage resource assessments and BESS performance modelling. /liliConduct technical due diligence, independent engineering (IE) services, and design validation for BESS and hybrid renewable projects. /liliReview and optimize BESS plant configurations in alignment with client requirements and grid stability objectives. /liliCoordinate internal teams and external subcontractors, ensuring high-quality deliverables. /liliMaintain direct communication with clients, lenders, developers, and stakeholders. /liliInterpret technical aspects of commercial agreements (interconnection, EPC, supply, OM). /liliIdentify technical and commercial risks and opportunities related to project design and contracts. /liliEvaluate BESS technologies (lithium-ion, lead‑acid, flow batteries, thermal storage and emerging solutions) and performance metrics such as degradation, lifecycle, and efficiency. /liliAssess grid integration requirements and regulatory frameworks for energy storage systems. /liliPrepare technical reports, energy yield assessments, and project documentation. /liliSupport business development activities,
