This is a challenging senior role, requiring a broad understanding of IT technology, service management processes and the ability to collaborate with many different stakeholder groups within Zurich Group. /p pGroup Technology and Operations Software Asset Management comprises of an international team of SAM experts in four countries, who manage a multi-million-dollar software portfolio and SAM technology stack to support IT stakeholders in achieving their objectives. I'm glad you asked. /p ul liSubject matter expertise, in-depth and proven knowledge of SAM operations and competencies, with ability to apply and advise on complex software licensing topics and produce ELPs specifically for Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat across all IT environments. /li liUnderstand Microsoft licensing concepts and product use rights within containers, in on prem as well as in cloud operating environments. /li liNavigate and leverage Microsoft software related billing,



tracking and measurement systems and tools like Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune. /li liNavigate and leverage Microsoft and Oracle or Red Hat software related billing, tracking and measurement systems /li liProvide transparency of costs for SW contracts and assure fair allocation of charges to BUs and Service owners based on software usage. /li liNegotiate successfully across the organization and with external suppliers/vendors in a constructive and collaborative manner. /li liMaintain stakeholder community and enables information sharing environment. /li liIdentify and drive proactively initiatives to achieve SW related savings, mitigate compliance risks, developing best practices and processes, to continuously improve software asset management service and to ensure compliance with budget and contractual requirements. /li liIdentify necessary changes and play key role in the complex software contract negotiations, manage demand and contract updates, liaise with external vendors, legal, contract and sourcing teams. /li liSupport and drive implementation of global SAM standards, processes, controls, reporting, and monitor agreed performance indicators and control metrics. /li liImprove continuously SAM by leveraging AI capabilities to reduce manual effort, able to identify recurring patterns and spot optimization opportunities. /li liSupport other day-to-day activities of the global SAM team /li /ul h3What Makes You a great Fit? /h3 pWhile we're not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you'll be a fantastic fit for our team.
