Overview
Research and Development & Innovation (R&D;&I;) Project Manager – National and International Projects. This permanent, full‑time role (35 hours per week) at the Centre for Information and Communication Technologies Research (CITIC) at the University of A Coruña focuses on identifying, securing, and managing European and international research funding in the fields of research, innovation, knowledge transfer and technological development.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyse and monitor European and international funding opportunities in research, innovation and technology transfer.
- Prepare and submit project proposals—assessing eligibility, drafting, structuring and reviewing documentation, and monitoring submission deadlines.
- Provide technical, administrative and financial management of international projects, including processing expenses, travel arrangements, procurement procedures, contract management and file monitoring.
- Promote and strengthen collaboration with universities, research centres, European platforms and other international stakeholders.
- Organise and participate in workshops, meetings, study visits, events, information days and networking activities to enhance internationalisation and the centre’s profile.
- Maintain systems for monitoring funding opportunities, proposals and projects, and prepare reports for strategic planning and decision‑making.
- Develop and implement the centre’s internationalisation strategy, attract competitive funding, join international networks and increase the centre’s visibility.
- Review and improve internal procedures related to funding opportunities, proposal preparation and project management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in International Relations, European Studies, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Project Management or a closely related field recognised in Spain.
- Official certificate of English language proficiency level C1 (CEFR) – mandatory eligibility requirement.
- Experience in research project proposal writing and management within a research or university environment is preferred.
