SE Intel UX UI Designer – Schneider Electric – Barcelona, Spain (Full‑time, on site)

Responsibilities
User-Centric Development & Adoption
- Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously improve experience.
- Define and track UX success metrics (adoption, task success, time‑to‑insight, user sentiment) and use them to prioritize design work.
- Create and maintain design prototypes and reusable UX components for scalability.
- Support adoption by ensuring dashboards are self‑explanatory and decision‑oriented.
- Use behavioral analytics and A/B testing to drive evidence‑based, continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Business Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts and Visualization developers in Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure design‑to‑development consistency and validate implementation against design specifications.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation in advanced data visualization techniques, conversational analytics and AI‑driven UX.
- Benchmark external best practices to continuously elevate SE Intel UX maturity.
- Contribute to defining next‑generation analytics experiences for SE Intel.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the UX expert within SE Intel, guiding teams on best practices and standards.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, on the importance of UX in analytics adoption.
- Collaborate across integral teams to ensure consistent experience at scale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
- Proven UX/UI design experience for analytics, BI platforms or data products, with a portfolio of shipped, data‑rich interfaces.
- Strong expertise in data visualization principles, user‑centered design methodologies, wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Experience designing for at least one major BI tool (Tableau, Power BI or similar) and understanding of analytics environments.
- Data literacy: comfortable reading data models and reasoning how data shape drives interface design.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross‑functional teams.
- Comfort with AI‑assisted design and accessibility tooling.
- Location: Spain; Bangalore, India.
