Job Mission

As a Senior Collector, you will be part of our general finance team and play a key role in supporting collection activities for customers across the United States and Canada. In this position, you will be responsible for driving the timely recovery of outstanding receivables, maintaining precise and up-to-date records, and building strong, collaborative relationships with customers — all contributing directly to PPG's overall financial health and performance. This position is in Rubí, Spain, and operates on a fully onsite model. To align with the North American market, working hours are scheduled from 14:00 to 23:00 CET, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

- Review open accounts and initiate collection efforts
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to recover overdue payments
- Meet monthly call and notation targets
- Process payments and update records accurately
- Maintain organized and up-to-date collection files
- Follow up on payment arrangements using the treatment schedule
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Help the USCA collection team where needed (training, provide solutions to collection issues)
- Back up for the Team’s Coordinator
- Provide back up for other team members if needed
- Actively participate in Collection projects
- Handle complex accounts
- Execute credit activities according to the local processes

Requirements

- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field
- At least 2 years of experience in credit and collections
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills




- Effective business writing and professional communication
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with Oracle and SAP, open to other systems
- Experience with collection projects
- Experience training peers
- Achieved all KPI’s as collector
