Job Description

Manage risk and opportunities relevant to the accountable Manager’s business, covering the whole context including operations and executed processes.

Duties of a Risk and Opportunity Manager

- Act in the spirit of the Airbus Group Policy CDS-009 'Enterprise Risk Management' and perform the following activities:
- - Establish the context and prepare the ROM plan.
- Schedule, initiate, manage with ROM stakeholders and execute ROM process activities (according to Figure 1).
- Clarify accountabilities (especially: R/O owner, R/O response action owner).
- Promote an anticipation and ROM-oriented mind-set.
- Close follow-up of successful execution of risk treatment actions.

- Provide assurance / advise to management regarding the achievement of:
- - Reliability of financial reporting.
- Airbus Group/Div. capabilities to identify, assess, respond to, take control actions and monitor risks & opportunities on a timely basis throughout the Group, consistent with Airbus Group /Div objectives.
- ERM system design and operational effectiveness.
- Transparency and quality of risk & opportunity monitoring and reporting.
- Ensures compliance with risk & opportunity rules, regulations and procedures.




- Implements and operates the risk & opportunity management strategy.
