ph3Job Description /h3 pAn opportunity for a bJunior Armament Systems Weapon Integration Engineer /b has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). /p pThis role is responsible for the end-to-end development and integration of armament systems, associated equipment and weapon/store integration into aerial platforms. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems meet the highest levels of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout their entire lifecycle. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSystem Development: Manage the full product lifecycle-from concept to retirement- ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and delivering systems that consistently met complex program requirements. /li liTechnical Analysis: Perform trade-off analyses, validate architectures, and lead performance analysis to optimize system solutions. /li liSystem Design: Define architectures for Armament Control Systems, Stores Management Systems, and Weapon Bay/Carriage systems in cooperation with suppliers or partners. Lead the preparation and technical assessment of documentation for the design and development of armament systems and stores integration /li liInterface Requirement Management: Define interfaces and technical requirements across system, subsystem, and equipment levels, ensuring coherent integration and conducting impact analysis. /li liIntegration Activities: Lead the technical integration of weapons, stores, and armament systems by developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and performing technical assessments of both weapon-level and system-level architectures to ensure seamless operational capability within the aircraft ecosystem. /li liSafety Documentation: Prepare and assess technical and safety documentation for armament systems and stores integration. /li liTesting Qualification:



Develop system test benches and define ground/flight test requirements to support qualification and certification. /li liAirworthiness and Certification: Ensure airworthiness compliance through the management of qualification reports and the generation of certification documents. /li liSupplier Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for suppliers, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with system requirements /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducation: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. /li liExperience: 0 to 5 years in Aircraft Systems Integration. /li liSoft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode. /li liLanguages: Advanced level in English Spanish (both written spoken). /li liTechnical knowledge: ul liAcknowledgement of systems integration. /li liAcknowledgement of systems development and validation (VV process). /li /ul /li liValuable / Nice to have: ul liAcknowledgement of Weapon/Stores main characteristics and integration. /li liAcknowledgement in Armament/Stores Management Systems and associated equipment. /li liAcknowledgement in Aircraft Systems. /li liAcknowledgement of DOORS, Matlab/Simulink, C++. /li /ul /li /ul h3WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE? /h3 ul liVacation days plus additional days-off along the year. /li liAttractive salary. /li liHybrid model of working when possible, promoting the work-life balance.
