As we continue scaling our capabilities, we are looking for a bSemiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA) Development Engineer /b to join our growing team. /ppIn this role, you will work at the intersection of device physics, materials science, and advanced manufacturing, developing key building blocks for our photonic systems. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3pAs an SOA Development Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of semiconductor optical amplifiers for scalable photonic systems. /ppYour responsibilities will include: /pulliDesigning and optimizing epitaxial layer stacks to achieve target device performance. /liliPerforming device simulation and modeling to predict and improve behavior. /liliApplying Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles to ensure scalable, high-yield solutions. /liliCollaborating on Design for Testing (DfT), defining test strategies and analyzing measurement data. /liliDeveloping and executing test and characterization routines for fabricated devices. /liliAnalyzing experimental data and translating results into design improvements. /liliInterfacing with suppliers and foundries to define specifications and support process development. /liliCollaborating with system, packaging, and photonic integration teams. /liliMaintaining clear documentation of designs, simulations, and processes. /li /ulh3What We’re Looking For /h3h3Education Experience /h3ulliPhD in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science,
