Find your future with us. /p pWe are seeking a bSenior Payroll Specialist Italy Spain /b to join the team based in bRome, Italy; Grottaglie, Italy; Milan, Italy; Barcelona, Spain or Madrid, Spain /b. /p pThe Senior Payroll Specialist is an experienced hands‑on payroll professional hired execute and support payroll processes for Italy, Spain and other European payrolls. This role focuses on accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing, issue resolution, reconciliations and strong operational documentation while partnering with local payroll vendors, external providers and cross‑functional teams. /p pThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future. /p h3Position Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee end‑to‑end payroll runs ensuring accuracy and timely delivery; provide direct support or validation for France payroll runs as required. /li liManage pre‑payroll validations, data cleansing and exception handling to minimize rework for payroll cycles together with TCS. /li liReconcile payroll outputs, investigate post‑payroll discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions across supported countries. /li liCoordinate with local and global payroll vendors (e.g., CloudPay, TCS, local vendors) and internal platform owners (Workday, ServiceNow) for integration issues, configuration clarifications and incident resolution. /li liMaintain and update detailed country‑specific payroll process documentation and transaction‑level work instructions. /li liSupport testing and deployment of payroll system changes, patches and enhancements; validate results and document outcomes. /li liProduce regular payroll reports and support KPI tracking; elevate trends, country‑specific risks and compliance issues to the manager. /li liSupport onboarding and training of vendor payroll teams (e.g., TCS) and act as a subject matter resource for payroll queries. /li liEnsure compliance with local payroll regulations,



tax rules and statutory reporting requirements. /li liParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggest automation opportunities and strengthen controls for multi‑country payroll processing. /li /ul h3Technical Competencies /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of local payroll legislation, social security, taxes and statutory filings – mandatory. /li liHands‑on experience with global payroll platforms and integration tools; familiarity with CloudPay, Workday and ServiceNow advantageous. /li liSolid skills in gross‑to‑net calculations, benefits, deductions, off‑cycle payments and corrective payroll actions across European pay rules for those countries assigned. /li liProficient in post‑payroll reconciliation, troubleshooting and analytical root‑cause techniques for complex exceptions. /li liUnderstanding of upstream HR data flows (time attendance, benefits, HRIS) and downstream integrations to finance and statutory reporting. /li liStrong spreadsheet skills and ability to extract, manipulate and present payroll data. /li /ul h3Behavioral Attributes /h3 ul liCustomer‑focused with commitment to delivering a positive employee and stakeholder experience. /li liStrong interpersonal skills; builds productive relationships with local HR teams, vendors and global partners. /li liDetail‑oriented, reliable and accountable for accuracy. /li liProactive problem‑solver who anticipates issues and follows through to resolution. /li liCollaborative team player with effective communication and time‑management skills. /li liOpenness to digital tools and continuous improvement mindset. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or higher. /li liMinimum 5 years of hands‑on payroll experience. /li liDemonstrated experience supporting Italy, Spain (in-house or vendor‑managed). /li liExperience with at least one global payroll platform and vendor‑managed payroll environments. /li liExperience with payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance,



and payroll reporting across multiple European countries. /li liFluency in Italian, Spanish, and English (spoken and written). /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) /h3 ul liFrench language skills. /li liExperience supporting additional European countries beyond Italy and Spain. /li /ul h3Work Authorization /h3 pThis requisition is for a locally hired position in Italy or Spain.
