This delivers lower‑cost, zero‑carbon industrial energy safely, reliably, and at 98% efficiency. /p pWe are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to build and scale our electrical supplier quality capability across Europe and beyond. /p pSuccess in this role means more than resolving quality issues—it means developing suppliers, industrializing new products, preventing defects before they occur, and building robust quality systems that support Rondo’s rapid general growth. /p pThis role requires frequent travel to supplier facilities throughout Europe and internationally. /p pbWhat You Will Do /b (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to): /p pbBuild Supplier Quality Capability /b /p ul liDevelop and execute the supplier quality strategy for electrical components and assemblies. /li liEstablish scalable supplier qualification, audit, and performance management processes. /li liBuild strong technical relationships with strategic suppliers and become their primary quality partner. /li liDefine supplier quality standards, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation. /li liPartner with supply chain to qualify new suppliers and audit existing ones. /li liSupport the industrialization of new electrical products and suppliers from prototype through production. /li liPartner with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and production readiness. /li liLead supplier activities, production readiness reviews, and process validation.
/li liReview manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, throughput, and robustness. /li liHelp to implement APQP and PPAP methodology. /li /ul pbImprove Product Quality /b /p ul liLead investigations into supplier‑related quality issues using structured problem‑solving methodologies. /li liDrive root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions. /li liMonitor supplier performance through KPIs and quality metrics. /li liReduce field quality issues by preventing defects upstream in the manufacturing process. /li /ul pbSupport New Product Introduction /b /p ul liPartner with Product Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle. /li liEnsure quality requirements are incorporated into new designs and supplier selection. /li liApprove First Article Inspections (FAI), Supplier qualification, and production validation activities where appropriate. /li liHelp establish inspection strategies and critical‑to‑quality characteristics. /li /ul pbCollaborate Across Functions /b /p ul liWork closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Delivery, and Field Service. /li liSupport incoming inspection strategies and supplier containment activities when necessary. /li liProvide technical leadership during supplier visits and manufacturing reviews. /li liShare lessons learned across suppliers and product lines to continuously improve Rondo’s products. /li /ul pbWhat You Will Bring: /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
/li liApproximately 4–8 years (P3) or 7–12 years (P4) of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development. /li liExperience working with electrical or electromechanical components in industrial, energy, automotive, automation, or heavy manufacturing environments. /li liStrong understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies including cable harnesses, control panels, switchgear, sensors, power electronics, or similar products. /li liExperience leading supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvements. /li liExcellent root cause analysis and corrective action skills using methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, or Fishbone. /li liExperience working cross‑functionally with engineering and supply chain organizations. /li liWillingness to travel internationally on a regular basis. /li /ul pbBonus Points! /b /p ul liExperience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA. /li liKnowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality management systems. /li liExperience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale‑up. /li liFamiliarity with industrial automation, power systems, renewable energy, battery systems, or process equipment. /li liSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. /li liExperience working across multiple countries and cultures. /li /ul pbWhat We Offer: /b /p ul liCompetitive salary plus equity in a quickly‑scaling company. /li liA centrally‑located Madrid office. /li liOpportunity to impact industrial carbonization on a daily basis. /li /ul pThis role is preferred to be on‑site in Madrid with up to 75% travel. /p pAs set forth in Rondo Energy’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
