This role involves building data pipelines to the firm’s central data platform as well as development, testing and maintenance of said platform to ensure the availability, reliability, and integrity of data critical to the investment process. /p ul libData Pipeline Development: /b Design and develop sophisticated data pipelines to import data from external vendors, sell-side partners, and other providers seamlessly into our central data platform. /li libPlatform Development Testing: /bContribute to the ongoing enhancement of our platform to ensure it aligns with ever-changing business requirements. Test the system regularly to confirm its effectiveness and perform troubleshooting when necessary. /li libPlatform Maintenance Data Reliability: /bEnsure our platform is well-maintained, enabling uninterrupted access to crucial data points.



Continuously verify data quality and integrity essential for our investment process. /li libContinuous Improvement Collaboration: /bCollaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline data accessibility and usability. Drive innovation by adopting advanced analytics technologies and methodologies. /li /ul h3What makes a great candidate /h3 ul li3-6 years of experience as a data engineer or a related role /li liMinimum 7.0 result in degree obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, ideally from a top-ranked university, as well as strong academic background prior. /li liHedge fund experience is essential /li liExpertise in designing and building data pipelines /li liProficient in SQL, Python, AWS and other data management technologies /li liFamiliarity with version control systems like Git and orchestration tools like Airflow /li liAbility to test and troubleshoot data platforms reliably. A track record of improving data reliability and quality /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-based environment /li liSelf-starter, detail-oriented, and open to learning new technologies and methodologies /li liMake an impact from day one: we empower and trust our people to leverage and extend their skill sets /li liWork on a wide variety of projects alongside exceptionally talented people, often closely correlated to world events and trends /li liDeliver demonstrable business value working hand-in-hand with the customer /li liLearn from industry experts on how financial markets and world economies work /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
