ppWe're looking for a bSenior Core Network Engineer /b with strongb Configuration Management /bexpertise to take on a btechnical leadership role /b in one of the most ambitious Core Network programmes in Europe, working directly with one of the continent's leading telecommunications operators. /ppThis is a hands-on leadership position within a small, high-impact team. You'll set the technical direction, defend your decisions in front of demanding stakeholders, and lead a squad that counts on you to have their back. If you enjoy environments where your judgement carries weight and your decisions actually ship, this role is built for you. /ph3What you'll do /h3ulliOwn the technical design of Configuration Management capabilities within a complex, multi-vendor Core Network environment, ensuring scalability and resilience. /liliLead a delivery squad: you set direction and review design, while your team handles day-to-day platform coding. /liliMake and defend technical decisions in front of the customer's Core Engineering team. /liliDrive the translation of operator change practices — change windows, CMDB updates, rollback expectations — into automated, auditable gates. /liliOwn vendor and data-model engagement across Ericsson, Huawei and other in-scope vendors, including YANG modules and NETCONF exports. /liliBe the technical escalation point for the account, from vendor engagement to lab access and integration with the customer's change-management systems. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliSolid experience running a bConfiguration Management tooling stack for mobile Core /b — Cisco NSO, HPE Service Director, Ericsson ENM or an equivalent home-grown platform: golden configurations, drift detection, templating. /liliA real track record bmanaging configuration change on live Core /b: change windows, governance, rollback strategy, post-change KPI validation,
and the discipline that 24x7 environments demand. /liliWorking fluency with bNETCONF and YANG /b — you've personally run get-config and edit-config against live nodes and know how to read a schema deviation. /liliHands-on experience with at least one b5G SA Core /b (Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei), plus solid conceptual grounding across 5G SBA and 4G EPC architecture. /liliA track record bleading a delivery squad through a customer-facing service delivery /b, integration or first-of-kind deployment. /liliFluent English; working Spanish is a strong plus, as customer sessions run in both languages. /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3pNone of this is mandatory on day one; a strong Core lead will pick it up quickly working alongside our platform team. /pulliGitOps operations and the YANG toolchain (libyang, pyang, yangdiff or similar). /liliReading-level Python and Kubernetes literacy — enough to review pull requests and pair with engineers on tricky paths. /liliMulti-element orchestration experience (Cisco NSO or HPE Service Director). /lili3GPP interface familiarity, prior tenure at a Tier-1 European operator, VoLTE/IMS exposure, or contribution to IETF/3GPP/ETSI standards work. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3ulliCompetitive salary, health insurance and Versátil Compensation Plan as an enterprise benefit /liliAnnual training budget to help you stay technologically up to date and grow professionally /liliTime flexibility: our life is not just a working day; we give you flexibility both in entry and exit.
