Our client is looking for a Junior Hardware Security Engineer to join their growing hardware security team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work at the intersection of RTL design, SoC architecture, and hardware security.

You’ll help define and implement security features for Root of Trust, secure boot flow, cryptographic IP, and key management systems, while gaining hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis and secure hardware design in real-world silicon.

What you’ll do

- Support the design of SoC security architecture, including Root of Trust, secure boot, and key storage
- Work with senior engineers to translate security requirements into RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog)
- Assist in analyzing and fixing hardware security vulnerabilities in pre-silicon and production systems
- Learn about hardware attack vectors such as fault injection, side-channel analysis, and debug interfaces
- Contribute to documentation of security designs and findings
- Collaborate with security, verification,



and architecture teams

What we’re looking for

- Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Solid understanding of digital design and computer architecture
- Exposure to RTL design (SystemVerilog/Verilog) through studies or internships/projects
- Interest in SoC security concepts (secure boot, Root of Trust, crypto, trust boundaries)
- Basic knowledge of low-level programming (C and/or assembly)
- Strong curiosity about hardware security and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

- Familiarity with RISC-V architecture
- Awareness of hardware security concepts like side-channel or fault injection attacks
- Exposure to open-source hardware (e.g., OpenTitan, Caliptra)
- Interest in cryptography and secure system design
