ppWe are looking for an bAutonomous Vehicle Operations Lead (AVOS) /b to oversee the daily operations of bautonomous vehicle (AV) /b and brobotaxi fleets /b supporting testing programs, commercial bautonomous ride-hailing services /b, and new city launches across Europe. /p pAs the operational leader within the depot, you will coordinate bSafety Operators, Depot Specialists, Senior Technicians, and SDS Specialists /b to ensure vehicles remain safe, operational, and deployment‑ready. You will play a critical role in maintaining fleet availability, meeting operational KPIs, and supporting the successful launch and scaling of bautonomous vehicle fleets /b. /p pThis position is adecuado for candidates with experience in fleet operations, mobility services, automotive operations, logistics, or transportation who enjoy leading teams in fast‑paced, technology‑driven environments. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Fleet Operations Management /h3 ul liLead the daily operations of autonomous vehicle and robotaxi fleets across one or multiple depot locations /li liEnsure vehicles are operationally ready to support testing, commercial deployment, and autonomous ride‑hailing services /li liMonitor fleet utilisation, vehicle availability, charging schedules, and operational readiness /li liCoordinate daily vehicle dispatch and return activities to maximise fleet efficiency /li liMinimise vehicle downtime through effective operational planning and coordination /li /ul h3Depot Operations /h3 ul liOversee all activities within the robotaxi depot, ensuring safe, efficient, and organised operations /li liCoordinate the work of Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, Senior Technicians, and SDS Specialists /li liEnsure vehicles meet cleanliness, charging, inspection, and maintenance standards before deployment /li liSupport depot setup and operational readiness for new city launches and fleet expansion projects /li /ul h3Team Leadership /h3 ul liRecruit, onboard, train, and supervise operational staff /li liCreate shift schedules supporting 24/7 fleet operations /li liConduct performance reviews and coaching sessions /li liPromote a culture of safety,
accountability, and continuous improvement /li liEnsure all team members follow operational procedures and safety standards /li /ul h3Client Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liAct as the primary operational contact for internal and external stakeholders /li liCoordinate daily activities with engineering, product, technical, and fleet management teams /li liPrepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and performance summaries /li liEscalate operational risks and develop mitigation plans /li liSupport customer visits, audits, and operational reviews /li /ul h3Operational Excellence /h3 ul liMonitor KPIs including fleet availability, vehicle uptime, dispatch efficiency, depot productivity, and operational quality /li liIdentify process improvement opportunities that reduce downtime and improve fleet performance /li liDevelop and implement standard operating procedures for autonomous vehicle operations /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives during robotaxi fleet scaling and commercial deployment /li /ul h3Health, Safety Compliance /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and operational procedures /li liPromote a strong safety culture across all operational teams /li liEnsure incidents are properly investigated, documented, and resolved /li liMaintain compliance with health safety requirements for fleet and depot operations /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Essential /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, automotive operations, transportation, logistics, mobility services,
or similar operational environments /li liPrevious experience leading operational or technical teams /li liExperience managing shift‑based or 24/7 operations /li liStrong leadership and people management skills /li liExcellent organisational and planning abilities /li liExperience monitoring KPIs and operational performance /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills /li liFluent English /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience supporting autonomous vehicles, robotaxi fleets, ADAS programmes, or automotive testing /li liExperience with electric vehicle (EV) fleet operations /li liPrevious experience launching new operational sites or depots /li liKnowledge of fleet management systems and operational reporting tools /li liAdditional European languages are an advantage depending on project location /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 pSuccessful AV Operations Leads combine operational excellence with strong leadership and a passion for emerging mobility technologies.
