ppDescripción del trabajo /p pAn opportunity for a bPWP Stress Engineer /b has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the PWP Mechanical Analysis Team. Our department is in charge of participating in the design of the ADS platform PWP through modeling, loads evaluation (static, fatigue, dynamic, thermal), and structure / system definition and validation. We develop static, thermal, and dynamic models of the PWP structure design to integrate engines across our different platforms. The team evaluates structural stresses derived from loads, supporting the design from the pre-design phase to in-service support, including main design reviews, certification, and prototype testing. To perform these activities, our multidisciplinary team is permanently in contact with Flight Physics, Design, and System Integration departments, as well as each program's Chief Engineering office. The jobholder will reinforce our stress analysis area to support complex system implementation in these programs. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance (FDT) calculation and analysis within metallic, composite, and hybrid structures at the component level. /li liDevelop structural stress evaluations and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods and sizing processes. /li liUtilize standard FDT tools and techniques to analyze damaged structures and provide stress analyses for the repair or acceptance of components. /li liCollaborate with Flight Physics, Design, and System Integration departments to ensure structural alignment from pre-design phases to in-service support. /li liSupport the definition, implementation, and validation of the PWP structure design,
participating actively in main design reviews and certification processes. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducation : Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. /li liExperience : At least 5 years of experience in Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical stress analysis. /li liSoft skills : High adaptability to work in a team and networking mode.
