It will allow us to innovate pioneer greater access to high-quality medicines, but we can only do this by bringing the best and the brightest minds together. /p pbAs a Project Engineer, /b you will manage engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with Safety, Environmental, Quality, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards, while supporting the continuous improvement of plant operations and sterile manufacturing processes. In this role, you will promote adherence to Sandoz's Code of Conduct, Integrity policies, and operational excellence standards, contributing to a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment. /p h3Your responsibilities will include: /h3 ul liLead Engineering projects from conceptual phase through to commissioning. Define scope, budget, planning, and internal/external resources. /li liEnsure compliance with project management based on the general investment procedure. /li liImplement and design robust solutions, considering process requirements. /li liPreparation of Project Charters, F-CAR, P-CAR, SI, and Decision Matrices for new projects. /li liEnsure the implementation of corporate requirements in the development of assigned projects. Collaborate in the definition of user requirements/specifications. /li liContracting, coordination, and supervision of services performed by external companies. Budget control. /li liDraft and sign work permits for general/special works. /li liManagement of change control for the different projects. /li liPropose improvements to existing facilities and implementation of new technologies. /li liIdentify risks in project execution and apply preventive measures. /li liEnsure that the generation and execution of facility qualification protocols are aligned with corporate standards. /li liEnsure compliance with facility requalification deadlines according to the VMP. /li liEnsure the safety of personnel and processes. Maintain order and cleanliness.



/li liExecution of assigned safety actions in Enablon. /li liEnsure product quality and the aseptic process in the production area. Follow up on incidents. /li liCarry out/collaborate in deviation investigations. /li liImplement assigned CAPAs within the established timelines. /li liComplete assigned training (online/on-site) as required. /li liManagement and leadership of the Department’s assigned SOPs. /li liPropose Energy Efficiency and Sustainability projects. /li liProvide support during internal and external audits. /li liParticipate in the resolution of complex failures (Root Cause Analysis). /li liWork closely with the Engineering Manager and the Head of Engineering and Maintenance. /li liCollaborate with other departments. Establish effective internal and external communication. /li liKeep knowledge up to date, both technical and in legal aspects related to environment, labor, hygiene, and safety. /li liMaintain a significant on-site presence at the plant facilities. /li liCollaborate in the role assigned within the Plant Emergency Plan. /li /ul h3Key Performance Indicators /h3 ul liNo critical observations in internal/external Quality or HSE audits. /li liNo serious injuries or fatalities in the assigned projects (0 accidents). /li liTimely completion of safety actions. /li liMaintain internal training record 90%. /li liMeet the costs and deadlines of the assigned projects. /li liTimely completion of CAPAs and Deviations. /li /ul h3What you’ll bring to the role /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. /li liMinimum 3 years of experience in engineering project management within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or highly regulated manufacturing environment. /li liProven experience managing capital investment projects, from concept design through execution, qualification, and handover. /li liStrong knowledge of GMP requirements, equipment qualification, validation processes, and change control management. /li liExperience working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors,



and external suppliers in complex technical projects. /li liKnowledge of risk assessment methodologies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools. /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements. /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. /li liCommitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence. /li liFluent in Spanish and English is mandatory. Catalan is considered an asset. /li /ul h3What You’ll Receive /h3 pSandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement.
