ph3Automation Engineer - Contract | August Start (Spain) /h3 pInitial 3-month contract, with strong potential to extend to 6 months /p pWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking for experienced Automation Engineers to join a fast-paced, multi-site automation programme across the EU UK /p pYou will work alongside the client's in-house engineering and controls teams, supporting PLC code development, implementation, commissioning, testing and continuous improvement across a network of highly automated sites. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Automation or Controls Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering complex, high-impact projects. /p pYou will work on a site closest to you and remote support other locations. /p h3What You'll Be Doing /h3 ul liDeveloping, testing and commissioning PLC code using Siemens TIA Portal /li liSupporting fault-finding and troubleshooting on live automated systems /li liLeading and contributing to process improvement initiatives /li liIntegrating and migrating code across Siemens TIA Portal versions /li liSupporting the deployment and commissioning of new automation projects /li liActing as a key technical point of contact within a skilled team of contractors and permanent engineers /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 ul li5+ years' experience coding and commissioning in Siemens TIA /li liStrong working knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal (version 16 and above) /li liExperience troubleshooting complex issues across Controls, Fieldbus (Profinet, Profibus, ASi) and IT platforms /li liExcellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical issues to a range of stakeholders /li liStrong project management, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams /li liGood written and verbal English /li liAbility to work autonomously with minimal supervision /li liSound knowledge of machine safety regulations and safe working practices /li liKnowledge of the Ignition platform for building SCADA/HMI systems /li liFamiliarity with SCADA and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) concepts /li liAbility to analyse performance metrics to drive process optimisation /li liExperience leading a change management process /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
