In this role, you will lead construction cost engineering for Amazon’s NA Design u0026amp; Construction portfolio, delivering bottom-up estimates, cost models, and data-driven insights to inform capital decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams from concept through bid-ready documents, scaling estimation through templates and AI-enabled workflows. Your work supports cost transparency and should-cost benchmarking across diverse building types and project scopes. This role offers high-impact challenges and opportunities to shape cost strategy within the Sourcing Excellence pillar.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Deliver independent bottom-up construction cost estimates for NA projects across retrofit, expansion, and new-build scopes
• Develop estimates from early concept inputs through RFP-ready drawings, adjusting methodology by project phase
• Create and maintain programmatic estimating templates for multi-site programs to drive efficiency




• Produce detailed estimates for unique site conditions and ambiguous scopes requiring deep analysis
• Generate rough-order-of-magnitude estimates for early-stage exploration with limited data
• Leverage AI-powered tools to automate data gathering, benchmarking, and pattern recognition while applying expert judgment
• Curate and validate project data to support scalable AI solutions and automation
• Collaborate with preconstruction managers, design engineers, and category managers to validate assumptions and communicate risks
• Peer review estimates and cost models for consistency and market alignment xqbhyrx
• Maintain cost data libraries with latest market bids, labor rates, and material pricing
• Expand into should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and value engineering within Cost Engineering services

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related disciplines
• Ability to operate across multiple construction disciplines and manage costs
