ppOneTalent is partnering with a general leader in digital payment solutions and employee benefits to appoint a bCountry CIO | Technology Director (Executive Committee) /b to lead its technology organisation in Spain. /p pAlthough the internal title is Country CTO, the scope of the role is closer to that of a Country CIO, acting as the senior technology partner for the local business while balancing local priorities with the Group's global technology strategy. /p pOperating in more than 40 countries and serving millions of users worldwide, the company is looking for a business-oriented technology executive to lead the next phase of its technology evolution in Spain. /p pSuccess in this role will require balancing business priorities, technology transformation, operational excellence and Group governance while building strong relationships across local and international stakeholders. /p pAs a member of the bExecutive Committee /b, you will report to the Regional CTO while acting as the key technology partner to the General Manager, CFO and Executive Committee, driving strategic transformation and aligning local business priorities with the Group technology strategy. /p pThis is far more than a traditional CTO position. It combines bbusiness partnership, enterprise technology, operational excellence and organisational /b transformation within a complex multinational environment. /p pThe role offers a unique combination of strategic influence, executive visibility and local decision‑making autonomy within a global technology organisation. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3a) Business Partnership Technology Strategy /h3 ul liAct as the trusted technology advisor to the General Manager and Executive Committee. /li liDefine and execute the technology strategy aligned with business objectives and Group priorities. /li liTranslate business needs into a pragmatic technology roadmap. /li liPrioritise technology investments based on business value, customer impact and operational efficiency. /li liLead the technology transformation roadmap across Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. /li liDrive cloud adoption,
application modernisation and AI-enabled initiatives. /li liBalance innovation with operational excellence while ensuring business continuity. /li liLead strategic business and technology transformation programmes. /li /ul h3c) Technology Operations /h3 ul liOversee Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Technology Operations. /li liEnsure high availability, resilience and service excellence across all technology services. /li liLead vendor management and technology governance. /li liEnsure technology supports business growth, customer experience and operational excellence. /li /ul pLead a technology organisation of approximately b20 professionals /b, organised across: /p ul liEnterprise Applications /li liInfrastructure /li liCybersecurity /li liBusiness Processes /li liManage a balanced ecosystem of internal teams and strategic external partners. /li liDevelop leadership capabilities and foster a collaborative, customer‑focused culture. /li liOwn an annual technology budget of approximately b€4M /b. /li liEnsure strong financial discipline, investment prioritisation and cost optimisation. /li /ul h3First-Year Priorities /h3 ul liEnsure continuity and stability across the Technology organisation. /li liSupport the Executive Committee in defining the 2027 technology roadmap. /li liComplete the migration of core business systems to the cloud. /li liDefine and execute the application and enterprise architecture roadmap. /li liContinue modernising the technology landscape while balancing innovation, legacy systems and operational excellence. /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 pWe're looking for a bbusiness-oriented technology executive /b, rather than a purely technical CTO.
/p pYou’ll bring: /p ul liSignificant experience leading technology organisations within multinational, matrix environments. /li liStrong business partnering skills with Executive Committee exposure. /li liProven experience leading Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Technology Operations. /li liA successful track record delivering technology transformation and organisational change. /li liExperience managing technology budgets, strategic vendors and complex delivery portfolios. /li liExcellent stakeholder management, influencing and prioritisation skills. /li /ul pWe are particularly interested in leaders who have operated in multinational, customer‑centric organisations where technology is a strategic enabler of the business.
