ppRevolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s RD pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pThe Area Business Lead is responsible for the team promoting Revolution Medicines products/services to the oncology community in the North-Center area of Spain and responsible for implementing sales strategy in the area. This person is ultimately accountable for building, leading, inspiring, developing and guiding the activities of 7 Senior Oncology Account Managers (SOAMs) to exceed all performance targets every quarter. In addition, they are responsible for growing several key business relationships with Area-Level healthcare accounts including major health systems, hospital pharmacists, regional stakeholders, and Area specific oncologists by developing/executing strategic account plans and maximizing appropriate product utilization, while maintaining strong customer relationships and furthering Revolution Medicines reputation as a leader in Oncology. They possess strong analytical, coaching, collaboration and communications skills, while also having a proven track record of success as a sales leader, building world-class teams and launching first in class medicines. The Area Business Lead should have the ability to synthesize high volumes of data to strategically guide their team and optimally collaborate with cross-functional matrix partners to drive optimal outcomes and foster an unusually healthy and engaging culture. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Commercial Lead, Spain. The Area Business Lead is a key leader driving commercial success within the respective region in the oncology business. Acting as a central enabler of integrated, omnichannel customer interaction, and ensuring that regional execution is closely aligned with the overall strategy and internal functions, this position is working closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other functions. In doing so, they take responsibility for regional development, team performance, and the consistent execution of the corporate strategy in the market. /li liDesigns and implements together with marketing value added projects at the hospitals. /li liBuilds an image/brand and awareness for Revolution Medicines and its products in the oncology market in the assigned region. /li liCreates and communicates short and long-term vision, strategies and initiatives in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. /li liDrives exceptional team performance by setting clear goals, providing tailored coaching and recognizing and rewarding successful behaviours. /li liLeads the development and alignment to key levers of performance such as quarterly business plans and skill building to ensure top performance. /li liParticipates as an active member of the Sales leadership team. /li liVisibly embodies corporate Core Values while cultivating an energized team culture focused on patient impact. /li /ul h3Required Skills, Experience and Education /h3 ul liMA/MS/BA/BS degree and 20 years of biopharma industry experience. /li liPreferably 10+ years prior experience leading an oncology sales team. /li liProven track record of product launch success in the oncology therapeutic space. /li liExperience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics. /li liProven performer in highly competitive marketplaces. /li liProven performer in solo-representative selling environments. /li liDemonstrated success operating in small/midsize biotechnology environments. /li liAbility to meet territorial travel requirements. /li liAbility to travel to meetings/training/programs, as necessary. /li liProven effectiveness in highly collaborative cross-functional working environments. /li liValid driver's license. /li liExperience in small to midsize biotech space. /li liMust permanently reside in the territory for which they are accountable. /li liSelf-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. /li liAbility to set priorities and work towards tight timelines with a willingness to travel, mainly within Spain up to 60% of time. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 ul liPreferably experience in the GI and/or NSCLC oncology space. /li liExpert knowledge of all relevant topics (i.e. marketing, training, market access, business of oncology, distribution, data-acquisition, etc.) to this role. /li liAdvanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD). /li liOral Oncolytic product launch experience is preferred. /li liStrong organization, planning, project management, technical and analytical skills. /li liOther related experience (e.g., sales operations, market research, market access, etc.). /li liAbility to work independently to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines. /li liAbility to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success. /li liAbility to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience. /li liOutstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, a structured approach to tasks and a professional appearance is essential to embody the core values from Revolution Medicines. /li liFlexible team member who can handle ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-growing organization embracing a positive attitude towards change, able to operate within agreed financial budgets. /li liDelivers compelling presentations to individuals and groups, adapting messaging to maximize audience engagement. /li liHighly proficient in Microsoft suite including Powerpoint, Excel, Word. /li /ul pRevolution Medicines takes protection and security of personal data very seriously and respects your right to privacy while using our website and when contacting us by email or phone.
