Join us. /p h3Job Description /h3pWe are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer with experience in bridges and/or structures design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term framework agreements with numerous local authorities together with design and build commissions for many major contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities Europe Team (Spain/Poland).



/p h3Responsibilities /h3ulliWork is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to bridges and structures. /liliWorks on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. /liliPerforms structural engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. /liliPerforms a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff. /liliPrepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members. /liliProvides guidance to entry level engineers. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3ulliExperience working on bridges and/or structures designs (+2 years). /liliExperience with some of the main international regulations and standards (i.e. AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.). /liliSkilled in engineering calculation software for bridge and structures (preferable Midas Civil, but others as CSiBridge, SAP2000, etc. are well considered). /liliExperience working in the North America region will be considered favorably. /liliFluent in English (oral and written). /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliMaster degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3pAt AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.
