ppThe Manager of Logistics Operations is fully responsible for the site warehouse and kitting operations in Spain. The main objectives are to provide clear leadership and tactical direction to the local teams, create a reputation of excellence and ensure a "Best in Class" organization is created and maintained. /ppThis role will promote teamwork and collaboration, quality performance standards, professionalism and integrity to ensure that results are delivered in accordance with the strategic plans, objectives and customers’ contractual agreements. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild and develop a strong and stable team where members have the capability to further grow and develop. /liliEnsure all activities related to employee engagement, talent reviews and periodic employee reviews are conducted across area of responsibility. /liliCoach, develop and mentor Europe Logistics Operations staff (direct and indirect) within region of responsibility to ensure ongoing career development, growth and continuous improvement. /liliSet the direction for the local warehouse, kitting, and distribution teams within Spain to ensure organizational readiness and alignment with customer needs and delivery capability for the required service levels. /liliPartner in the development, modification and improvement of the overall Stryker distribution network, the Europe physical footprint, procedures, policies, processes and the development of new services to increase external and internal customer satisfaction and lower overall costs. This is in close collaboration / cooperation with other (relevant) functions. /liliEnsure local warehouse and kitting operational activities within Spain are in line with the applicable Medical Device Directives, applicable ISO standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCPA, Trade Compliance, VAT,
Health Safety, and any other local international laws, rules regulations. /liliEnsure compliance with integral, European and local regulations regarding health safety, regulatory and hazardous materials, as well as internal policies and procedures. /liliDrive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and performance throughout the organization of responsibility. /liliRoutinely evaluate Voice of Customer to ensure distribution processes meet internal and external Customer needs. /liliFull collaboration with the Europe and EEMEA divisions, and all other divisions sourcing from the distribution nodes of responsibility, to pursue the highest level of service. /liliOversee the physical handling, storage, transportation and inventory control of all products transacted through the LRD within responsibility are in line with the divisional, corporate operational and strategic objectives while delivering on the required customer service levels and operating in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. /li /ulh3Required /h3ulliA minimum of a Bachelor's / graduate degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent is required. /lili5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Operations or related fields are required. /lili5+ years of experience in multi-shift, automated and labor-intensive distribution, logistics,
manufacturing and/or supply chain operations. /lili7+ years’ experience in a people management role with proven organizational development and planning expertise necessary to lead teams thru continual changes while demonstrating high levels of engagement. /liliMust have strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies and warehousing in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimization. /liliHigh sense of customer service orientation. /liliHands on work experience with and knowledge of logistics management, warehousing, fulfilment, inventory, planning, supply chain, order management and MRP tools / system. /liliWell versed in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio or other flow-charting software and/or Microsoft Project (or similar). /liliExperience with International Standards (e.g. ISO / FDA). /liliDemonstrated ability to build relationships that help achieve results and influence employees/managers at every level of the organization. /liliFluency in English Spanish. /li /ulh3Preferred /h3ulliA post-graduate qualification in Warehousing, Logistics or Operations would be strongly preferred. /liliAPICS certification is highly preferred. /liliFormal training in (and experience with) Lean, Process Excellence, Six Sigma tools, etc. is preferred. /liliLeading within a decentralized, matrix organization. /liliMedical device standards and regulatory needs. /liliBusiness Process Analysis. /liliExperience in reverse logistics in Medical Device or Healthcare Markets. /liliStrong knowledge of IT systems tools and their implications for business processes (Oracle and SAP preferred). /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
