In this Senior Software Engineer role, you’ll join Glovo’s Quick-Commerce General Services to help build scalable platforms for groceries and urgent daily needs across the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You’ll work from Barcelona with cross-functional teams to support onboarding and early-stage vendor integration, shaping systems that scale globally. You will tackle complex problems, implement robust designs, and drive technical initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This is an opportunity to impact a leading multi-category delivery platform and collaborate across a global network.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Onboard and support early-stage vendor onboarding within the Q-Commerce scope
• Troubleshoot complex issues and analyze solutions, providing timely fixes
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and leadership across Q-Commerce
• Contribute to the next-generation platform for groceries and on-demand daily needs




• Design and build scalable distributed systems and microservices in production
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and coordinate across multiple teams

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience (mandatory)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SNS/SQS, xqbhyrx Google Pub/Sub)
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Strong English communication skills
